As a volunteer-led organization, every form of involvement is invaluable and will have a positive effect on our athletes. Volunteers are the only way we are able to be successful. We need volunteers as: chaperones, team administrators, assistant coaches, head coaches, council members, general volunteers and more. We look forward to you joining our team!

If you would like to volunteer your time to Area 31-North of the James, we would love to welcome you to our community. To connect, please email us at areacoordinator@area31sova.org and use the subject line, “Area 31 Volunteer Interest”. We can help you find the perfect fit to support our Area programs.
Below are the forms to become an eligible volunteer and/or coach. Once completed, these forms are good for 3yrs before they have to be renewed. If you would like to complete these forms via a paper copy, please reach out to areacoordinator@area31sova.org so we can send via email, US Mail or you can stop by the office to fill them out in-person.

*Once you are on the SOVA volunteer tab, go to the middle of their page and click on the “STEP 1” Image like the one below. After you complete the Class A Form, you will receive an email prompting you to complete your Background Check.
